Anyway…after browsing Tracery’s expansive (and impressive!) portfolio, I became enchanted with this home in Alabama. Built in 1929, the Tudor Revival home in Mountain Brook, Alabama must have seen many swinging parties, heard much laughter, and endured many changing styles. But I suspect the style created by Tracery might be the 83yr old structure’s favorite.

Basing much of the concept around the owners’ collection of fine art and antiques, the home underwent a serious renovation, bringing Old World and modern world together seamlessly. Patterns, textures and contrasts were used to elevate the neutral color palettes to the heights of elegance. Every time I look through these photos, there is another something to fall in love with.
